Who can participate in the program?

US Sellers looking to expand customer base into Mexico through Walmart Mexico marketplace. 

What is the advantage of this program?

It is a cost-efficient and reliable cross-border service where you may reach about 99% of MX population. Transit time 3-5 business days after customs clearance. 

How can I participate in the program?

Is there a minimum volume required?

This is a flexible program that allows all size sellers to participate, hence, there is no restrictions, besides particular product categories.

What type of service is available?

We recommend: 

Small ground if your items are 2 lbs or less. 

Standard ground for any other items. 

Express if your orders are 1 lb 

Do you consider dimensional weight and what is the factor?

Yes, we do, the factor is 166 for all our services, including Express.

End user categories in electronics, personal care, home improvement, furniture and many more. Please refer to the restriction’s list of items here

Do I need a MX physical address?

It is not mandatory, but if you already have one you may use it to receive undeliverable items. 

Estafeta offers a MX hub to receive the undeliverable items or returns, where it can be imported back to the US or process for re-delivery. 
 
Returns may be held for up to 30 calendar days free of charge. After that period you may decide to dispose, re-ship or return back to the US for additional fees. 

What is the process?

Fulfill your orders, and create Estafeta shipping labels through our web based platform or integrate through our Web Service application. 

Declare the orders you ship in a cargo manifest. 

Ship your orders, or we may arrange pick up from your location in the US to the following address:

How is my company billed?

You will receive 2 invoices with the charges incurred: one with the duties and a second with transportation/handling charges, all itemized. 

Can I track my orders?

Yes, all orders have a tracking number that may be inquired via web or you may also integrate a Web Service tracking app. 

What happens if an order is undeliverable?

It will be returned to one of our hubs in MX border. From there you may choose to import back to the US, re-deliver the order or dispose the item. Additional fees apply for any of the 3 options you decide to make. 

If you have provided a MX-address undeliverable orders will be automatically return to your location, at no additional fees. 

 

Can I return the items back to the US?

Yes, you may set your account to return automatically items, or consolidate on a time-basis the undeliverable and returns. Based on the handling of your orders additional fees are applied. 

How is the return process?

For customer returns you need to provide a label to your customer that directs their orders to our MX hub location at the border. Transportation within MX fees and handling crossborder fees are applied. For some instances duties may also be due when returning high value products.  

From there we will take care of customs clearance and cross-border back to the US. 

The US domestic return label may be either provided by you, or we may quote the service based on your needs. 

 

Can I re-deliver the order and what is the cost?

Yes, it is possible. Redelivery of orders is $7.00 for 10 lbs and $0.65 additional lb.
